Anonymous Asked: hi! ^^ i love the nails youre sporting in your haul post. can you post an up close picture of it? i love everyhitng you do! My answer: Thank you very much! :) Unfortunately, I did not take a close-up of that specific manicure because I wasn’t too fond of them. However, you can try to recreate the manicure yourself. I used: China Glaze Second-Hand Silk (3 coats) Good luck and thank you for your question! For reference, Anonymous is asking about these nails. I’ve been having a really tough week with school, but this finally came in the mail today and brightened (literally and figuratively) my night up! :) Believe what you see - the second picture is not photoshopped. It actually glows that well! You can compare the brightness of the glow with my clock. Now will it glow like that on my nails? We shall see. I LOVE HALLOWEEN! Happy early Halloween, everyone! S. O. S., SQUIRT! China Glaze Platinum Silver Featuring: Squirt, the red-eared slider turtle. I had a lot of homework this weekend and decided to go with a quick and simple manicure to save me some time. This morning my brothers went out to wash the pond. Seeing as it was such a nice day, I decided to go out to play with the turtles. Squirt decided to climb onto my hand and sit there peacefully to sunbathe. We took plenty of pictures and I uploaded one onto Facebook. One of my friends pointed out that my manicure matched with Squirt’s skin, so voilà! ** Click on the pictures for a larger view. By the way, S. O. S. = shatter over silver. I have ABBA stuck in my head! “So when you’re near me, darling can’t you hear me, S. O. S. And the love you gave me, nothing else can save me, S. O. S.” erindominique-deactivated201203 Asked: how did you do your dino-roar nails My answer: O hai there! The dino nails were the most simple of all the manicures I have posted thus far, all thanks to the crackling effect of the OPI Shatter polish. All I did was paint my nails with a base color first (in this case, the booger-colored polish, hehe) and then dazzled them up with the Shatter polish. I also used scotch tape (on all fingers except the index) to help me paint crisp edges. I hope that sort of helps. Sorry, I know it’s really vague, but people have been asking for video tutorials, so I may consider it when I have more time in my hands (and less polish, lol, I am so lame). ;) |
