REVIEW: Zoya Designer Cream Collection NYFW 2012 Hello lovely readers! I’m finally back after about a month-long hiatus and appreciate your continued support. It’s great to be back and blogging. :) Today, I am moving away from the summer brights and presenting you with some gorgeous autumn colors from the Zoya Designer Cream Collection 2012. I will also have swatches of the Zoya Diva (metallics) and Gloss (jellies) collections, but since I absolutely love cream finishes, you get to see these babies first.
Rekha is a custom shade for fashion designer, Bibhu Mohapatra. Here I am wearing only one coat of Rekha with no top coat so you can see how she really shines. I am loving this blood-red cream and am amazed with the easy, one-coat formula. As with all red polishes, be sure to use a good base coat to prevent staining your nails.
Toni is THE perfect definition of a wine-colored polish in my book! She is described as a “dark maroon red cream.” Here I am wearing two coats of Toni for full coverage.
Monica is an intensely deep purple cream. This color is very easy to wear (just two coats), and is so chic! She works beautifully on almost all skin tones and will add a subtle brightness to your outfit this fall.
Natty is a smoky gray-blue cream. I was a bit worried about the formula because the first coat went on blotchy and sheer, but the second coat covered up all imperfections.
Envie is the other custom shade in this collection, created for another designer, Peter Som. I am very excited to add Envie to my collection since I did not have a color like her! This is an amazing dusty, gray-green cream. Opaque in just two coats.
And the last color in the Zoya Designer collection is Noot, a charcoal-like green cream. From far away, this color appears almost black, but in the light, you will see a deep gray-green. As with all the other Zoya polishes in this collection, the formula is amazing. I used only one coat of Noot to achieve opacity.
