REVIEW: Megan Miller Summer 2012 Collection (preview here)

Hello, hello, hello! I have two cute polishes to share with you today. Look at the unique shape of the bottle with the cork top. Adorable, am I right? Giada Pink and Lemon Ice are both part of the Megan Miller Collection for summer 2012. These two colors together remind me of a delicious tart, yet sweet, pink lemonade - such a refreshing treat for a hot summer day. :) I like these colors so much that I photographed the swatches on all five fingers, rather than the usual two. Please enjoy!

Both colors are very sheer, so you will need to take extra care and patience in the application process. I used at least four coats to achieve opacity for both polishes, but the formula is very well-made. That is, each stroke promises a non-streaky, smooth application. And though I needed to use four coats, drying time was fairly quick, so I did not have to wait very long between coats.

Here I have four coats of Giada Pink. This baby pink polish gives your nails a beautiful porcelain-finish. If you are going for a delicate look, I highly recommend adding Giada Pink to your collection. Your nails will instantly look sophisticated and clean. Though this color is part of the summer collection, it is perfect all year long.

I don’t own many yellow polishes because they don’t work very well with my skin tone, but Lemon Ice proved me otherwise. Another very delicate and subtle color for instant sophistication. Here I used five coats for opacity, and as I mentioned earlier, the polish dries quickly between coats, so you don’t need to worry about accidentally nicking or denting your manicure before you are done.

This was my first time trying some Megan Miller polishes and I can assure you these will not be my last. I look forward to seeing what other gorgeous colors they will create.
